Anna’s Home of the Diocese of Washington. The one-time grant of up to
$1,500 is designed to offer emergency assistance to women of at least 70 years
old of African descent who are members of the Diocese of Washington when there
is a critical, unexpected event which requires an immediate response. Funds
will be paid directly to an entity, not an individual. The request must come
from or be endorsed by a clergy member in the diocese. The process is
confidential, and requests can be submitted at any time to: Pitts Emergency
