JUST IN TIME FOR THE NEW SUNDAY SCHOOL YEAR... 
Extensive new resources,  compiled by the diocese's Christian Formation 
Committee, will be available Sept.  1 at www.edow.org  The resources include 
information on teaching Sunday  School, leading a youth group, organizing adult 
education offerings and planning  intergenerational activities.

    Those of you who receive Church House news may have  seen this already.  
If not, I invite you to go to edow.org and check out  the new Christian 
Formation web site.  Although it is still very much a  work in progress, it has 
resources for children and adults who work with them;  for youth and adults who 
work with them (maintained by Paul Canady); for young  adults; for adults; and 
for "everyone" (this is mostly intergenerational  information).  The site has 
links to the diocesan calendar and a link that  will enable you to enter an 
event at your parish.  It also allows you to  "contact us" - i.e., send me an 
email with your suggestions, additions to the  site, etc.  We hope you will find 
it useful and that you will pass on this  information to other parishioners, 
colleagues, friends, etc.
