Associate Director of Children and Youth Ministries, St. Columba¹s Episcopal Church, Washington, DC

St. Columba¹s is a vibrant parish of 3500 members in the city and diocese of Washington, DC. We are church with a solid commitment to children¹s and youth ministries with over a thousand of our members under the age of 18.

We are seeking a full-time layperson who would work with and for the Directors of Children¹s and Youth Ministries.  This person would assist in program development and implementation for both children¹s and youth ministries.  This would include, but would not be limited to, coordinating Sunday School for pre-school ­ 5th grade; helping to coordinate our Journey to Adulthood program and youth outreach programs; assisting with and continuing to develop Christian Education program needs as they arise.   We are searching for someone who is organized, has flexible scheduling, has good written and verbal communication skills, has a heart for children and young people, and who has experience in a liturgical church.
