Dear Friends,

This is a message from the Thom Chu at the Episcopal Church Center in
New York ("815") regarding the announcement of Ms. Kesha Brennom as the
new staff officer for Children's Ministries and Christian Education. You
can read more about her below, but I'll also tell you that she is the
daughter of the Rev. Howard Anderson, Warden of the Cathedral College,
and will be living here in Washington as her husband completes his
residency at George Washington University Hospital. Hopefully, a
meet-and-greet can be set up when she gets settled in the area.

Have a great weekend!

In Christ,
Paul

Subject:	Please read and forward :: Announcing the appointment of
Kesha Brennom as staff officer for Children's Ministries and Christian
Education

Dear Colleagues:

I am pleased to announce the appointment of Kesha Brennom as staff
officer for Children's Ministries and Christian Education. She will
begin her new work with us on June 27. Please join me in welcoming
Kesha into her new role!

Kesha Brennom, former Missioner for Children, Youth and Young Adults in
the Diocese of Iowa is honored to be an active lay professional in her
field of passion, Christian Formation. Kesha grew up in the Episcopal
Church and has experienced the ministry and mission of the church since
she was a child. Fluent in Spanish, she first pursued mission by serving
the ministry of Christian Formation in the Diocese of El Salvador. After
graduating from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor where she
studied the politics of culture and education, she employed her
knowledge and energy helping to establish an alternative school for
immigrant and refugee students in Minneapolis. She began her
professional ministry in the Diocese of Minnesota, where she grew up, as
Minister for Youth, Young Adults and Families at St. John the Evangelist
in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Kesha has held leadership positions at the diocesan, provincial and
churchwide levels. She has also represented Province VI on the Episcopal
Council for Christian Education and has been a leader in youth and young
adult networks.
